A student of American University of Nigeria in Adamawa State, yesterday put Wizkid on blast for allegedly cancelling a show that he had been paid N8.9 million for.
The event organiser who goes by the Twitter username: @MrTawati claimed that they had initially reached out to Olamide and offered him N4million but he refused to travel to Northern Nigeria.
Wizkid however denied the claims, replying the event promoter in a series of tweets saying that the tweets were false rumours and has nothing but love for his Northern fans. The starboy also called out “dumb ass bloggers” who put up the story without confirming it’s authenticity.
